Endless gratitude to his organ donor and family, who gave Billy a new life. And to those who were there with us (jen and kids) in the journey to getting a double transplant, those who contributed to the GoFundMe making it possible, every single clinician-- from those who did diagnosed him here in Charleston to his brilliant surgeons and those who cared for him in the ICU here and in Minnesota-- those were heroics. We wish it had been more, but you gave a very needed dad years. We could not have more respect for you, for what it meant to receive organs and heart repairs, and will be grateful to you all of our days.
