William Layne Cretsinger

A Memorial Service for Mr. William Layne Cretsinger, 68 of Lubbock, will begin 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Calvillo Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Leonard Navarre officiating. All arrangements were made under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home & Chapel.

William Layne Cretsinger was born in Mineral Wells, Palo Pinto County, Texas, on November 5,1955. He died at home on April 17, 2024, in Lubbock, Lubbock County, TX.

Bill was born the son of William Hall Cretsinger and Gail Dian (Patrick) Cretsinger. He grew up in the Graham area, living and attending school at Graham, Bryson, and Jacksboro. He settled and lived for 35 years in Lubbock, TX.

In addition to his family, Bill found great comfort in his beloved dogs. Fawn and cooker were especially dear to him. He also enjoyed listening to all types of music and found solace at the creek catching fish.

 Bill lived his final years with Stormie and Felipe’s family. His greatest joy was watching his youngest grandchildren play and grow.

Bill is survived by his much-loved children: Seth Cretsinger, Stormie Cretsinger, Adrian Cretsinger, and Andrea Cretsinger; grandchildren Miranda Pesina, Diego Pesina and Tallulah Cretsinger; a niece Jessica her husband Calvin Ingram and they’re boys Jaxon and Jaden.

Bill was proceeded in death by his parents, Hall Cretsinger and Dian Hill, and his sister, Debbie Cretsinger.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Seth Cretsinger, Felipe Pesina and Roger Hillburnt.
