William Cunningham

William Cunningham, 81, of Wyckoff, NJ, passed away in peace on Tuesday, August 16, 2022. He is survived by his beloved wife, Carol; his loving daughters, Patricia (Robert) Laemmle of Freehold, NJ, Barbara (Adam) Westhaver of Simsbury, CT; grandchildren, Alexander, Anna, and Matthew Laemmle, Caroline, Andrew and William Westhaver; sisters, Bernadette Nestor of Sea Girt, NJ, and Anastasia Wallace of Chatham, NY; and many nieces and nephews. William is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Ellen Cunningham, and sister Mary K. Harrington. He was a proud member of the Sword of Light Pipe Band in which he was a Pipe Major, as well as the Fulton Masonic Lodge, Salaam Shriners, Catholic Council of the Electrical Industry, Wyckoff Seniors, Scottish Rite, Masonic Kilties, and was an avid sailor.
Family will be receiving friends at Vander Plaat Funeral Home (vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ on Saturday, August 20, 2022, from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM. A Masonic Service will be held at 7:30 PM
A graveside service will follow on Monday, August 22, 2022, at Redeemer Cemetery, 90 Chapel Road, Mahwah, NJ at 12:00 PM
