William David Pack, affectionately known as Dave, was born on September 27, 1948, in Louisa, Kentucky. He embarked on his journey in life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to family and friends. Dave went home to be with the Lord on December 27, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Dave was a successful business owner who made his mark in the tire industry, founding "D & D Retreading" in Columbus, Ohio. He concluded his career at "WD Tire Warehouse," where he shone as a top salesman. Despite his recognition in business, it was his heartfelt devotion to his family that truly defined him. His education was cut short due to the passing of his father at a young age, but his kind nature led him to take on the responsibilities of caring for his mother and family, showcasing his strength and character early in life.

For over 58  plus years, Dave remained a loving husband to his high school sweetheart, Donna F Pack. Their relationship stood as a testament to true and unwavering love, exemplifying the bond they shared through life’s many ups and downs. He was not only a devoted husband but also a proud father and grandfather, and his family remembers him fondly as a doting figure in their lives.

Dave was a charming and generous man, known for his quick wit and one-liners, which continued to bring smiles even up until his final moments. A true family man and nature lover, he enjoyed indulging in hobbies such as playing the banjo and guitar, listening to bluegrass music, and spending time hunting, particularly for squirrels. An avid birdwatcher and animal lover, he immersed himself in the beauty of nature, enveloping his family with his love for the world around them.

His proud accomplishments included being a 3rd degree master mason and a valued member of Masonic Lodge #689 in Grove City, Ohio. Above all, Dave took immense pride in the life he built with Donna and their beautiful family. He was particularly proud of his daughters, Denise and Dalana, as well as his grandchildren, Thor, Dalynn, and great-grandchild, Ryan.

Dave is survived by the love of his life, Donna; daughters, Denise Pack and Dalana (Donny) Jacob; grandchildren, David Thor Pack, Dalynn Rae Jacob; great-grandchild, David Ryan Thor Pack; and three sisters, Wanda Dye, Annette Perry, and Jewell Combs and many many nieces, nephew, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Lucian Earl Pack; mother, Bertha Sparks; two brothers, Willis Pack and Ransom Pack; and five sisters, Ethel Mills, Lorene Mills, Jeanie Kelley, Erma Mae, and Eleanor "Ellie" Klaiber.

As we celebrate the life of William David Pack, we cherish the memories of a kind-hearted man whose spirit touched many lives. His legacy of love and generosity will always be remembered by those who knew him, a guiding light that will continue to illuminate the paths of his family and friends for generations to come.
