William David Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Charles Coelho Funeral Home - Central Falls on Jan. 21, 2026.
William "Bill" J. David of Pascoag passed away on January 7, 2026, at RI Hospital in Providence. He was 73 years old. Mr. David was the husband of Susan C. David.

Born in Central Falls on March 10, 1952, Mr. David was the son of the late Yvette (Milholm) and Henry David. After attending high school Bill enlisted in the United States Army with whom he honorably served our country. Mr. David was a talented painter who was proud to be self-employed.

His hardnosed style fit well with the Army and as a self-employed painter…it also fit well with raising his most prized possessions, his children. He was a great Dad, a little tough but an outstanding Dad who had his kid's backs no matter what.

In 1980, Bill and Susan built their home in Pascoag, the town they have called home since.

Some of Bill's enjoyments were the fishing trips he took and telling the stories of those trips. He loved playing the guitar and had a great voice. Bill was also a huge New England Patriots fan.

William J. David is survived by his wife Susan C. David of Pascoag. He was the beloved Dad of Todd David, Chad David and Kayla David. Mr. David was the proud grandfather of Chase, Mason, Italia, Thomas, Bentley and Rhea.

In accordance with his family's wishes, all services will be private. Mr. David will be laid to rest in Notre Dame Cemetery in Pawtucket at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls, RI.
