It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of William “Bill” Davis, who left us on July 19, 2025, at the age of 92, resident of Brookdale South, Medina. William was a beloved father, grandfather, uncle and friend who touched the lives of many with his kind generosity and friendship.
Bill was born on October 25, 1932 in Marietta, Ohio, the son of Raymond W. & Goldie Grace (Boyce) Davis. He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Thelma A. (Sauser) and four of five siblings: Rose R. Radabaugh, Donald W. Davis, Raymond W. Davis, Bessie A. Gaskins. He is survived by one sister, Patricia M. Lauer
Bill dedicated his life to caring for family. He was a veteran of the Korean war - US Army (7yrs).
He worked as a trouble shooter/lineman for 38 years at Ohio Edison.
Bill was known for enjoying family gatherings, his sense of humor, gardening, hunting, fishing, camping, and hiking. His legacy will live on through the countless memories shared by those who knew him.
Bill is survived by five children, Tamera L. (Ben) Williams, Charles E. (Cindy) Davis, Diana L. Allen, Grover L. (Cindy) Davis, Pamela S. (Jess) Gross, 9 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Friends may call Friday July 25, 2025 from 11 to 12 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Hillcrest Chapel, Seville. Celebration of Life services will follow at 12 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, where military rites will be held. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Brookdale Medina South, Associate Appreciation to support the resident care.
