William Daywalt

On Tuesday, August 1, 2023, God welcomed a wonderful man into his arms. William Harry Daywalt, loving husband and father of three sons, passed away at age 67.
Bill was born on November 21, 1955, in Ashtabula, OH to J. Earl and Harriet (Lyons) Daywalt. He received his music degree from the College of Wooster in 1979. Bill had many career paths in his life. He was a music teacher, he became a pastor and served at the Mentor and Kingsville Presbyterian Churches. He found his calling in social work where he became a case manager at Signature Health and then was a guardian at Catholic Charities where he positively influenced many lives. On July 18, 2023, he married Harry William Seabright. Bill raised three sons, Zack, Jesse, and Philipa, and was a foster parent.
Bill loved his family. He was passionate about music and loved musical theatre. He was devoted to his career as a social worker. He had an amazing ability to help people change their lives.
Bill was preceded in death by his father, J Earl, his mother, Harriet, his older brother Raymond and brother-in-law Robert Brunell. He is survived by his husband, Harry, his sons Zack (Marijane), Jesse, and Philipa, his brother David (Kathy), his sisters Carol and Marianne (Al) and many cousins, nieces and nephews. A private family service will be held on August 27, 2023 at 1:00 pm with a celebration of life to follow at 2:00-5:00 pm at the Kingsville Presbyterian Fellowship Hall. Donations may be made to Hospice of Western Reserve, David Simpson Hospice House or a donation to a charity of your choice made in Bill's name.
