William Junior Dobbs
William Dobbs Jr., son of the late William Dobbs Sr. and Birdie Lee (Trimmy) Dobbs was born on June 11, 1931 in De Valls Bluff, Arkansas and departed his life on Sunday, May 14, 2023 at the Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 91 years.
Mr. Dobbs was a former employee of Loy-Lange Box Company in St. Louis, Missouri and resident of French Village, Missouri.
On January 10, 1950 he was united in marriage to Margaret Annamae McClaine. Mrs. Dobbs preceded him in death on September 24, 2008.
Survivors include one son, Rickie Dobbs of Florida; by two daughters, Deneen Scott of French Village, Missouri and Brenda Noce of Florida; by one sister, Clara Sue Quinn of Arkansas; three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and one great-great-grandchild.
Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters; also, by one grandson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 19, 2023 from 10:30 until 11:30 A.M. at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, Missouri. Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, May 19, 2023 at 12:00 noon at the New Morley Cemetery in New Morley, Missouri. Interment will follow.
