Mr. William Henry Dotson, age 75 of Meadows of Dan, Virginia, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Atrium Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem, North Carolina. He was born in Joliet, Illinois, on March 5, 1950, to the late George William Dotson and Beatrice Cooley Dotson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Dotson, and sister, Beverly Sutton. William had a great sense of humor, enjoyed picking on everyone, lived his life to the fullest, and tried his best to be good. He attended Mayberry Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed reading his Bible daily and trusted the Lord with all his heart.
Mr. Dotson is survived by two children, Marcus Dotson and Kayla Dotson; three grandchildren; five siblings, Mary Huff (Danny), Georgette Hylton (David), Clarance Burnett, Clyde Burnett (Patricia), and Charlene Keesee (Bob); and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date for Mr. Dotson. Moody Funeral Home in Stuart has been entrusted with the arrangements, and online condolences may be sent by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
