He was one of eight children and two of his sisters, Ann Peach and Shirley Gross, survive him. Bill met the love of his life, Rexie Belle, when he was just 17 years old and they were married 55 years. Their 3 children, Keith Douglas of Frankfort, Kevin (Sara) Douglas of Virigina and Brooke (Chris) Groves of Frankfort survive him. Other survivors include his grandchildren; Dane Douglas, Audrey (Dustin) Stewart, Kennedy Douglas and Bailey Riley, great grandchildren; Mia Feeback, Adilynn, Mia and Janey Stewart.
Shortly after the death of his wife in late October, Bill was diagnosed with leukemia and while he did his best to fight it, he ultimately joined his beloved Rexie. Bill was cared for by his son, Keith, his sister Shirley and his sister Ann.
Bill enjoyed a good visit, a good laugh, good friend and good bourbon along with his motorcycle, the gambling boat and trap shooting. Bill will be remembered for his quick laugh and honest advice and will be sorely missed.
