William Robert Drahl Sr., 76, of
Orlando, Florida, passed away on February 2, 2026. He was born on December 10, 1949, in
Newark, New Jersey, and raised in Berkeley Heights.
Bill attended Governor Livingston High School and graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a degree in business. He built his career as a Government Contracts Manager with Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control.
A true car enthusiast and excellent handyman, Bill had a lifelong passion for automobiles and could fix just about anything-whether it was a vehicle or something around the home. He took particular pleasure in maintaining his children's cars, keeping them in the best possible condition.
Bill's love of sports ran deep. An avid fisherman and baseball fan, he spent many seasons coaching his sons' little league teams and remained a devoted Tampa Bay Rays supporter. His enthusiasm for the game continued through the years as he cheered on his grandson. He was always there to support his children in their activities, whether on the field or off.
Bill enjoyed life's simple pleasures: classic ballpark fare, action movies, occasional trips to the gun range, and beach time with his family. He also had musical talent and loved playing the piano and singing karaoke with his friends at the VFW.
Bill is survived by his four children: Tara Drahl, Megan Wible (Jeff), Justin Drahl (Barbara), and William Drahl Jr.; his grandchildren Preston and Kennedy Drahl; his sister Francine Alcorn (Andrew) and her children Corinne, Zack, and Ben. He was predeceased by his parents Michael and Corinne Drahl, and his brother Michael Drahl.
A beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Bill will be deeply missed.
