James L. Smith, 90, of Saint Cloud, FL passed away on January 20, 2026. He was born on June 14, 1935 to Dewey and Vera (Kent) Smith in Branford, FL. James worked as a Lineman for the City of St, Cloud Utilities Department. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Marie Smith, his son, Michael Ray Smith, sisters, Lucile Coe and Duanne Smith, and brothers, Dewey H. Smith and Jerry Smith. James is survived by his loving son, Scott Smith and daughter in law Luci Smith, grandson, Jesse James Smith and wife Taylor Marie Smith, great-granddaughter, Lilly Marie Smith and great-grandson, James Steven Smith - all of St. Cloud, FL.
