David Braun Obituary
David Franklin Braun, 72, of Harmony, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on February 2, 2026, surrounded by his wife and family. He and his wife were married for 44 years and shared many fond memories together.
He was the son of the late Melvin Braun Sr. and Shirley Passero, and brother to Melvin Braun Jr.
David was the owner of Braun Hardwood Floors and retired in 2021. He was a skilled craftsman in the flooring industry for over 50 years. He was also a mentor to his three sons, who have become successful in building their own flooring businesses.
Raised in Chicago, he was a true sports fan. He loved his Chicago Cubs, Bears, and Bulls.
He was a beloved husband to his wife, Antoinette, and a loving father to Megan (Billy) Garrett, Justin (Miju) Braun , Alexander (Cynthia) Cuatchon, and Jason (Jennifer) Cuatchon. He was a proud grandfather (Papa & Papaw) to Tristan, Ethan, Addyson, Jaden, Jace, McKenna, Morgan, Bryson, Giovanni, Jubilee, and Kingslee. He was also a beloved brother to his sister, Pamela (William) Wolf, and a cherished uncle and great-uncle to many. He was truly blessed.
David lived a life of honesty, integrity, and kindness.
He will be deeply missed by many.
