William “Bill” Dunn, 69, of Fort Mill, South Carolina, passed away on October 28, 2025.
Bill was born on May 1, 1956, in Rock Hill, South Carolina, to William Dunn and Bessie Starnes. He made Fort Mill his home for many years, where he was known for his warm personality, generous spirit, and love of sharing good food with family and friends.
A gifted cook and baker, Bill’s delicious cakes were always a highlight at family gatherings. He enjoyed playing softball, spending time outdoors, and being part of the Fort Mill community. Bill was also an avid South Carolina Gamecocks fan, cheering passionately for his team throughout the years. For many years, he proudly served as a volunteer with the Fort Mill Fire Department, where he made lifelong friendships and gave his time to helping others.
He is survived by his wife, Jada Dunn, and their children, Alec Dunn and Whitney Dunn. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and community spirit.
A memorial service celebrating Bill’s life will be held at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 292 Munn Road, Fort Mill, South Carolina, on November 3, 2025, at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in Bill’s honor.
