William E. "Bill" & Marie Moore Obituary

Bill and Marie are survived by their children Judy (Brad) Wilson and Jim (Mary) Moore; three grandchildren and their spouses and four great grandchildren.

Marie 95, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2025. Born on April 13,1930, in Sacramento, California. Marie dedicated her life to creating a warm and nurturing environment for her husband of 67 years, William "Bill", and their two children and three grandchildren.

Marie’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family. Her homemade pies, potato salad, and pumpkin bread were eagerly anticipated by family and friends alike. Marie’s love for nurturing things was evident in her beautiful flower gardens, and her care for neighborhood birds, she always had several bird feeders, which she maintained in all the places she lived over the years. She loved to walk and hike, always finding new places for her and Bill to explore the outdoors. She loved to create greeting cards out of pictures and drawings that Bill made.

William “Bill” Moore 93, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025. Born July 26, 1932, in Jersey City, New Jersey, Bill dedicated his life to family and to education. He began his career as a teacher in New Jersey after serving in the Army at Fort Huachuca, Arizona. His love for educating youth was an overflow of his passion to spread the love of Jesus to whomever he met. His career spanned four decades and included five states, New Jersey, Arizona, Colorado, Oregon and Texas, during which he held positions of teacher, principal and administrator at both public and parochial schools. His favorite hobby was drawing pictures of animals and cartoons to share with everyone he met.

A Committal Service, with military honors for Bill, will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025, 11:00 AM at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
