William "Billy" Edmonds

William Harold (Billy) Edmonds was born July 8th, 1950, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Robert and Georgia Mae Edmonds. He passed away Friday February 11th, 2022, in Hospice Care.
Billy was baptized and received Christ at an early age at Oakland Mt. Zion Baptist Church where he was the Sunday School Secretary.
He was a graduate of North Warren High School and played on their basketball team. In Billy's spare time he enjoyed hunting small game, playing softball, and
umpiring games. He enjoyed watching University of Louisville and Western Kentucky University sports.
Billy worked and retired from Holly Carburetor after 25 years. He was a skilled worker who helped with yardwork and any handy work. He never met a stranger and made a lot of friends and acquaintances over the years.
In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his brother Benjamin Edmonds.
He is survived by his brothers Thomas Edmonds of Oakland, Kentucky and Dan (Mae Helen) Edmonds of Oakland, Kentucky; sisters Joyce Ferguson of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Frances (Fred) Bailey of Oakland Kentucky, and Shirley Yarbrough of Bowling Green, Kentucky; one Aunt Johnnie Young of Franklin, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins and friends.
