William "Bill" Ralph Elliott, 75, of
Dallas, Oregon, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on October 7, 2025.
Bill was born on December 21, 1949, to Ralph and Lillian Elliott. He grew up in Dallas alongside his sister, Judi Ross, and brothers, David, Doug, and Dale Hunter. Bill graduated from Dallas High School in 1967, then when on to proudly served in the U.S. Army before receiving a medical discharge. He later dedicated 20 years to Cascade Steel Mill in McMinnville and another 15 years to the City of Salem.
In 1976, Bill married his first wife, Colleen (Delaney) Elliott, with whom he shared many cherished years and so much love. Following Colleen's passing, Bill found love again and married Suzan (Fink) Elliott in 2006.
Bill was father to daughter Amanda Elliott, sons Jason Elliott, Shayne McCullough, stepsons Scott Fink, and the late Steve Fink. He was also a proud grandfather to eight grandchildren and great-grandfather to three, with many nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.
Growing up on the family farm in Dallas, Bill loved sharing stories of raising and showing sheep and pigs with his father through FFA and at local and state fairs. His childhood experiences instilled in him a lifelong love for the outdoors, and he especially enjoyed hunting, fishing and visiting the rifle range.
Above all, Bill will be remembered for his deep love of family and friends, generous spirit, and steady willingness to lend a hand whenever someone needed it.
Bill is survived by his sister Judi (Stanley) Ross; daughter Amanda Elliott; sons Jason Elliott and Shayne McCullough; and stepson Scott (Molly) Fink. He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Lillian Elliott, wives Colleen Elliott and Suzan Elliott, brother David Hunter, and stepson Steve Fink.
