Born in Greenville County, a son of the late Cecil Elmer Ellison and the late Anita Jones Ellison, Mr. Ellison was a retired Maintenance Supervisor at BASF with thirty-three years of service. He was a longtime member of Lakeview Baptist Church where he served as deacon and Sunday school teacher.

David loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and loved and adored his family, especially spending time with them. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and Clemson football. David will be dearly missed by all that loved and knew him.

Ellison (Bonnie) of Easley; four grandchildren, Abbey LeClair (J.D.), Will Ellison, Ellison Tolley and Hutch Tolley; and one great-grandchild on the way. In addition to his parents, Mr. Ellison was predeceased by a brother, Fred Ellison; and three sisters, Gertrude Powell, Sybil Ferguson, and Margaret McClellan.
