Barrett Funeral Home - ClevelandWilliam Harley Ferguson, 82, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 26, 2025, in Leesburg, Georgia. William's life will be celebrated with a visitation at Barrett Funeral Home, Cleveland, GA 30528, on November 9, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at Barrett Funeral Home, at 2:00 PM, William Burt will officiate.
He was born on December 13, 1942, in Gainesville, Georgia, to the late William Chester Ferguson and Nannie Mae Crumley Ferguson. Harley grew up in the small town of Lula, GA. He was a truck driver for over 50 years running short and long distances. He loved being on the open road, whether it be in his truck or on his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was a friendly and loveable person that could always make you smile or laugh. He made his family his number one priority in life, he always loved spending time with them.
Survivors include his daughter, Charlotte Oliva, and her husband, Michael, of Lee County, GA, as well as his son, William Scott Ferguson of Cleveland, GA. Grandson Will Levasseur, who is currently serving on Active Duty in the United States Air Force. His sisters, Bobbie Emmett, Lavartha Parker, and Merlene Cathey.
