I met William around late 2016 or early 2017 when we both served on an interview panel. We became instant friends and remained so. There's so much that I can say, and want to say, but will err on brevity. He was a true and loyal friend who stuck with me, even when office politics (for ridiculous reasons) indicated that he should do otherwise for his own career sake. I will never forget that and I will never forget William.

I worked for William when I first started working for the State of Tennessee. I will always remember William's kind smile and words. He was very uplifting and a positive influence in my life. William's family and friends are in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you during this difficult time.

Mike was a gentle soul and loved the kids. I remember when my sons were in Scouts and him bringing his son Michael. To the family, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Was saddened by the passing of this wonderful man. One of the sweetest people I knew. Though we didn't have a lot of contact after high school, I always thought the world of him and his family. My continued prayers are with you all. The heavens have a Wonderful Angel among them.

The Fields family has my sincere sympathies in your loss.
I saw Mike time to time at church but I never new him personally. However I knew his parents and they weee and are great people. Sister Hazel was my teacher long time ago. She was the sweetest lady then and still continues with the same spirit now. I know you will miss your son. I will continue to pray for you all. Love, Pam James

Mike always had a kind and wise word, a priceless smile. One of the best persons whose paths I was blessed to cross. You my friend are already missed. Prayers and love for dear Greta, your son and family
