BROOKSVILLE — William Orvil "W.O." Figgins, 90, passed away Sunday, Feb. 22, 2026.
He was born on June 12, 1935, to the late George Earl and Martha Mae (Perkins) Figgins.
He was a member of Fairview Christian Church where he served as an elder and a board member. He was also a past Bracken County School board member and served as a CASA volunteer.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta Easton (Fury) Figgins whom he married June 25, 1954. He is also survived by his children, Gary (Cheri) Figgins, Ricky (Lesa) Figgins, Randy (Kim) Figgins, Rhonda (Jeff) McCord, and John Mark (Debbie) Figgins; 13 grandchildren, Ryan Figgins, Brandon Figgins, Tyler Figgins, Kylie Figgins, Zachary Figgins, Joshua Figgins, Nicholas Figgins, Kirk Figgins, Dana Johnson, Kevin McCord, Ashton Figgins, Luke Figgins, and Logan Figgins; and 29 great grandchildren; and his brother, Robert Earl Figgins.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Betty Jean King.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. on Friday Fairview Christian Church. Burial will be at Johnsville Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. on Thursday at Moore and Parker Funeral Home in Brooksville.
Memorials may be made to Fairview Christian Church or Johnsville Cemetery.
