Fitzpatrick, William J. of Quincy, died January 29, 2026.
Bill adored his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved to spoil them and always up for any game they wanted to play. He was a great cook and got joy out of feeding everyone. He was a jack of all trades, very handy and happy to help anyone in need. Bill enjoyed traveling with his wife Donna, particularly to Aruba and Mexico, and on extended family trips to Normandy Farms Campground. He worked for the DPW as a supervisor for 36 years. He was a kind, caring, and friendly man who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Son of the late Thomas and Roberta Fitzpatrick. Beloved husband of the late Donna Fitzpartick. Devoted father and friend of William J. Fitzpatrick, Jr. of Dorchester . Amazing father, helper, last minute everything for his daughter Kelly Fitzpatrick and her husband Richard Ballestas of Quincy. Cherished brother of Thomas Fitzpatrick and his wife Betsy of Middleboro, Leslie Fitzpatrick of Duxbury, Lorraine Lafon of Florida, Mary Fitzpatrick of Brockton, Mark Fitzpatrick of Quincy, Jeannine Higgins and her husband Patrick of Quincy, Robert Fitzpatrick and his wife Noreen of Dorchester, Kerry Donohue and her husband Roberto Ballestas of Quincy, and the late Michael Fitzpatrick. Best friend, protector and Grampy to his granddaughters Priya and Riley. His “little rascals”. Grandfather figure to Jackson, Olivia and Mateo , Dog walker and treat giver to his best boy Reggie. Friend to all who met him. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Tuesday 2/3/2026 from 4-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 11:30 AM Wednesday 2/4/2026 prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Brendan's Church, Dorchester, at 12:30 PM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Boston. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bill may be made to your favorite charity or please buy yourself a quick pick to the largest mass state lottery game this week.
