Let this be not only a moment of mourning, but one of celebration. We honor a life that was lived fully and generously-a journey that, while now concluded, continues to inspire. We gather to share stories, to laugh as he once did, and to comfort one another, knowing that love endures beyond loss.

May his memory be a blessing and a guide. In every act of kindness, in every pursuit of knowledge, and in every moment of courage, his spirit lives on. Though we grieve, we remain grateful that such a soul walked among us, bringing light and warmth to the world.

William Gabriel Flournoy aka "Chill Will" was born on November 27, 1970, to Willie Hargrove and Mattie Flournoy in Jacksonville, Florida.

William attended William Raines Senior High School.

William was ordained as a Minister by the late Bishop Alexander.

William enjoyed spending time with his family and friends watching football and eating good soul food.

William answered the calling of God on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, preceded him in death is his parent, Willie Hargrove and Mattie Flournoy, son, William Gabriel Flournoy, Jr. aka "Buddy", grandparents, Mattie and Bennie Hall, brothers, Alexander Flournoy (Lillian), and Robert "Billie" Donaldson.

William leaves to cherish his memory a devoted and loving wife, Renae Michelle Flournoy; children, Amariah, Thomas, and Jodadcye; siblings, Rudolph Flournoy (Michelle) and Diane Tomlin; God son, Derrick and God daughter, Destinee; brother-in-law, Steven L. Andrews (Lisa); sisters-in-law, Tameka N. Ross (Mike) and Joyce Flournoy; nieces and nephews, Santoria, Sierra, Mia, Ava Renee, Mike, Dana, Ashley, Allen, Gerard, Travis, Brandon, Alexander II and Gabrielle; devoted aunts and uncles, devoted aunt, Kathy (Gentle), Regina, Brenda, Barbara Jean, Janese (Felicia), Morris, Cary, Ronnie (Mary) and Gregory; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends among them, Randy "Monk", Shawn, Teddy, Kim (L), Kim (W), Marshall, Patrick "Rip" and Robert "Bull"

As we say goodbye, let us hold tight to the memories we cherish. Let us carry forward the lessons learned and continue the work begun. In honoring his life, we recommit ourselves to living with purpose, compassion, and joy. The world is richer for his presence, and poorer for his absence, but by remembering, we keep him close - now and always.

Rest in peace. Your legacy endures in each heart you have touched.
