William Forester Obituary

William Roger Forester was a vibrant, powerful and generous soul who's work in this lifetime came to a tragic close on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at the age of 33. He desired nothing more than to be a man of honor, admiration, love and purpose. His family is devastated at his loss and deeply sombered to join the millions of families who have had their dearest taken by the most cruel disease of addiction. Though they greatly long for his presence - they find solace that he may now have the blessings of peace he so bravely pursued. His family, Bill, Sheila and Laura are hosting an intimate, private service for those dearest to their family by invitation-only, on Sunday, October 16th. In lieu of flowers or gifts, his family recommends contributing to those who are on the road to recovery: Narcotics Anonymous

Dear Bill, Sheila, and Laura, our deepest sympathy goes out to you. Will was always so generous with his time to help us with caring for our pets and helping us around the house. He cared deeply for his family and friends. It showed in his commitment to support others around him. He touched many souls and will live on in our hearts. Peace, Patty and Steve Crandall

When I think of Will I think of all of the travel baseball games over the years, all of the practices and all of tournaments that we went to together - as friends and teammates. It got to the point in little league that when it was Will's turn to take BP we would all go stand behind the fence, because he was more likely to hit a HR than he was to keep it in the park. Then throughout our 20's and into our 30's we got to relive those days while playing softball together in Upper St. Clair, and damn Will could still hit the ball a mile. We were lucky enough to grow up together in USC with the same core group of friends from middle school through high school and then post graduation. I will always hold this group of friends close to my heart. Will was the kind of friend that no matter how much time had passed we would always get a big smile to see each other and catch up without missing a beat. To think that this won't happen again is devastating, hurts my heart, and puts life into perspective. Will - I appreciate you and all of our memories and time together. I will see you on the other side and we can catch up like we always did.

BILL, SHEILA AND LAURA: Very sorry and saddened to hear of your loss. I guess the last time I would have seen Will was during one of our visits to your place too many years ago when he was a youngster. Thoughts of you all are with me.

Will buddy I'm going to miss you so much. I am going to miss you out at paps throwing the football and telling stories about what we had going on in our lives. You were just a cousin to me. You were like the brother I never had. Now rest in peace now, we will meet again one day. I love you buddy.

Dear Bill, Sheila and Laura, my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Will was such an incredible person and like a little brother to me. He was beautiful on the inside and out. I will never forget all of the wonderful memories that we all had together. May all of your favorite memories of Will comfort you today and always. I know he is in heaven watching over you and that he had the most wonderful life because of all of you. With love today and always, Heidi Missett
