Bill was born on May 22, 1949, in Holyoke, MA to John and Arlene (Empie) Gajowski. As a young child, he lived in Western MA, later moving to upstate NY and lived on a dairy farm with his parents and older sister, Cheryl, until the age of 20 when he married the love of his life, Linda Sirtoli of Gloversville, NY on December 27, 1969.
In 1971, Bill became the proprietor of a radiator repair business in Gloversville, NY which he acquired from his father-in-law, George Sirtoli. In 1985, he moved to Dresden, ME where he operated a second radiator business, followed by a home restoration business. In 2011, Bill and Linda moved to northern NH and later moved to the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont.
Bill was a talented creator of custom wood furniture and also designed racecar radiators and various machinery. He had a lifelong passion for photography and sold many unique photos and custom-made frames in St. Johnsbury and online. Bill will be remembered as a family man who valued his work ethic and took pride in his home and those he loved.
