William "Fred" Fredrick Gardner Jr., 66, of Muncie, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Brickyard Healthcare.
Fred was born on January 22, 1959, in Muncie to the late William Gardner Sr. and Dora Campbell. He attended Yorktown Schools in his youth. Fred worked as a truck driver and was the owner/ operator of his own semi. He attended Victory Temple Church. Fred enjoyed golfing, fishing, and talking smack.
Fred is survived by two sons, Chistopher Collins and Billy Gardner; two sisters, Pam Chasteen (husband Bob) and Karen Wilson; a brother, Jack Gardner (wife Robin); and several nieces and nephews.
Fred was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack and Rosie Gardner and Charles and Nellie Mohler.
Fred's family will hold a memorial service to celebrate Fred's life at a future date.
