William M. "Bill" Gehan, 82, of Goffstown and formerly of Nashua, NH, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday afternoon, November 23, 2025, at the Villager Retirement Home in Goffstown, NH.

Born in Bangor, ME, on October 28, 1943, Bill was the son of the late Walter J. and Vivian F. (Nickerson) Gehan. He was raised in Hampden, ME, and later attended the University of New Hampshire, where he earned a master's degree in engineering in 1978.

Bill began his career at Sanders Associates, Inc., and continued at Harris Corporation-both in Nashua-before completing his engineering career at Analogic Corporation in Peabody, MA. Following retirement, he enjoyed the tranquility and social connections of driving rental cars for Enterprise.

Bill called Nashua home for more than 50 years before settling in Goffstown in 2023. He embraced life with quiet joy and curiosity: cycling, searching for the perfect nature or lighthouse photograph-many of which earned awards-and spending afternoons out on his daughters' boat or watching football. Somewhere along the way, his family even managed to turn him into a Buffalo Bills fan.

Bill is survived by his son, Nathan Gehan, and his wife Anna of West Orange, NJ; his daughters, Tammy Kozlowski and her wife Aimee of Goffstown, NH, and April Terry and her husband David of Coppell, TX; six grandchildren, Stella Gehan, Ryan Cardinal, Allie Cardinal, Kaleah Ahern, Emily Terry, and Jake Terry; and two great-grandchildren, R.J. Cardinal and Iroh Ahern. He is also survived by his sister, Debbie Barnes, and her husband Jim; his former wife, Denice Lawson; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Walter Chester Gehan.

Calling hours will be held at Farwell Funeral Home, 18 Lock Street, Nashua, on Monday, December 1, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 West Hollis Street, Nashua, on Tuesday, December 2, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather at the church. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributing to a fund benefiting the residents of the Villager Retirement Home.
