William E. Gibbs Jr., son of the late William E. Gibbs Sr. and Mary Suzanna (Zoellner) Gibbs was born January 24, 1941 at St. Louis, MO and departed this life January 7, 2013 at Columbia, MO. He was united in marriage to Sharon Carroll on April 28, 1962. To this union three children were born. He retired as a engineer manager of TWA after 30 years. He moved to Lenox, MO on a farm where he enjoyed the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his wife Sharon, a granddaughter Mellisa Nichole Myers and a sister Mary Ann. He is survived by his children Mary Webre and husband Damon Webre, William Gibbs III and wife Kay, Susanna and husband Jeramie Kaffer; his grandchildren: Mark A. Myers, Michael B. Myers, William E. IV and Angela Gibbs, Ashley N. and Josh Flowers Jr., Kimberley K. Gibbs, Courtney Gibbs, Kirstie Neely and Dylan Kaffer; 5 great-grandchildren: Mellisa N. Myers, Dacey L. Myers, Kalia S. Myers, Jordan C. Gibbs and Josh Flowers Jr.; also three brothers James Gibbs, Fredrick Gibbs and wife Sandy, Anthony Gibbs and wife Pheobe, a sister Teresa Stockar and husband Harvey, also numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He will be greatly missed and loved by his family and friends.
