William "Billy" Giltner Sr.

William Allen "Billy" Giltner, Sr., of Gilbert, passed away at home on March 15, 2024. He was born on October 12, 1940, in Gilbert. Billy was an Army veteran, a college graduate, and a retired farmer. He is survived by Carolyn, his wife of 60 years; his son Billy, his wife Natalie, and their children Emily, Caleb, and Jacob; and his daughter Rhonda, her husband Marty, and their children Sloane and Caroline.
Billy was not one for attention and did not want a funeral service or visitation. A private ceremony for the immediate family was held at Providence Cemetery. His family wants to extend a special thank you to two of his dearest friends, Bill Moroni and Joey Westerburg, for their friendship and support. They also want to extend appreciation to the entire Moroni family and to other friends and neighbors who visited him or lended a helping hand.
