A devoted family man, William was a loving husband to Deborah A. Glover (nee Posega), a cherished father to William (Adrienne Page, fiancée) Glover Jr., Paul (Traci) Glover, Deborah K. Glover, and Chad Glover, and a proud grandfather and great-grandfather to 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, with one "on the way". He was a brother to John Glover and Jeanne Kurtenbach and an uncle to many nieces and nephews.
William's professional life included 15 dedicated years at United Steel and 23 years at United Distillers before his retirement. His passion for cars and motorcycles was evident in his hobbies, which included restoring antique cars and creating drawings and paintings of motorcycle designs.
Preceded in death by his son, Kevin A. Glover and his parents, Eldon Glover and Margaret Workman-Hughes, William's legacy is carried forward by his loving family and all who knew him.
Visitation for William J. Glover will be held at Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 West Jefferson Street in Joliet, Illinois, on Friday, June 27, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the service time at 1:00 PM. In accordance with his wishes, cremation rites will be arranged following the services. Farkas Funeral Home is honored to assist with the arrangements.

Although I lost touch with Bill over the years, I have great memories of growing up together in the same neighborhood. We were like brothers. Rest in Peace Bill.
