A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 11:00am EST at Colonial
Funeral home with Ron Shirley and Gerald Corbin officiating. The family will receive friends at
10:00am EST prior to the service.
William was born June 30, 1963 in Denton, Texas, son of Thomas Eugene Goodson and Wanda Sweeney Goodson. He was employed with Smiths Water Works as a technician. He was a loving father, husband, brother, and son.
He is survived by his son, Travis Maddox( Melissa) ; two daughters, Dawn Goodson and Michelle Massey(BJ); his wife Brenda Goodson; brother Gary Goodson ( Carmen); a sister Renee Loudermilk ( Alan), mother, Wanda Goodson and father, Thomas Goodson, many nieces and nephews and 17 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Ruby Maddox and his grandparents.
