William Donald Green passed away peacefully, with his wife by his side on October 13, 2025, at 81 years old. William was born on May 9th, 1944, in Corpus Christi, Tx to Robert and Marie Green.

William was a proud veteran. He served in the United States Army in Vietnam. After the Army, William was a commercial contractor. William loved fishing, building furniture, antiques, and traveling. He was a very loving husband, father and grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his family.

William is preceded in death by his parents Robert J Green and Marie Green, son Steven S Green, sisters, Helen Hanna, Patsy Thompson, Virginia Cameron, Mary Ann Ramsey, and Barbara Baker, and his brothers, James Green and Robert Green.

William is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Betty Green of Midlothian, Tx, daughter, Liane Scott (Kent) of Gatesville, Tx, son, Donnie Green (Joan) of Va, stepsons, Paul Miles (Patricia) of Austin, Tx, Bryan Miles of SC, Timothy Miles (Angela) of San Antonio, Tx, grandchildren, Timothy Miles, Kristi Miles, Katie Miles, Tyler Miles, Makala Miles, Kenzie Green, Will Green, Brock Tullis, Tenley Scott, 2 great grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews. William will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Green would like to thank Hospice Plus and Fidelis for their love and support though this hard time.

A Viewing will be held at Waxahachie Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 21, from 5-7pm. The Burial will be held at DFW National Cemetery on Wednesday, October 22. At 10:15am.
