William Michael Harper

William Michael Harper, age 61, of Baxley passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022.
Mr. Harper was born June 3, 1961 in Bartow, Florida to the late William Leaston Dub Harper and Barbara Vickers Harper. He was an electrician and a member of IBEW Local 508. Mr. Harper was preceded in death by his son, Erik Harvey.
Survivors include his wife, Marklyn Harper of Baxley; sons, William Jared (Amber) Harper of Douglas and Ryan (Allison) Harper of Broxton; sister, Amanda Grantham; parents-in-law, Edwin & Amanda Moody; and brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Edsel & Jeannie Moody. Ten grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday August 30, 2022 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. George Moxley officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Broxton.
Active pallbearers will be Greg Thomas, Justin Craven, Michael Christian, Justin Quinn, Ryan Quinn, and Daniel Harper.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of IBEW Local 508 and all other locals as well as all friends in attendance.
Visitation will be held on Monday August 29, 2022 from 6pm to 8pm in the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
