William David Harrelson, 49, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2024 at his residence. He was born March 10, 1975 in Horry County to Linda Turner Harrelson and the late Wilford Harrelson. William would go on to lead a life defined by selfless service and dedication. As a proud member of the United Stated Marine Corps, he served his country for many years before returning home to Conway, South Carolina to start the defining chapter of his life as a family man. William will forever be remembered as a loving son, a caring brother, and dedicated husband, a selfless father and grandfather, so sweet he'd spoil you rotten, His spirit and his kindness would reach far beyond his family as he loved anyone, anywhere as hid own, giving the shirt off his back if he could. Living as a devout Christian, William worked diligently alongside his family at Mercy Baptist Church to spread the word and love of the Holy Spirit in a way only he could. When he wasn't working to help others, William would enjoy his free time with his family and friends with cookouts and pool days a plenty. In addition to his father, William was predeceased by his brother, Kenneth Harrelson.
In addition to his mother, Linda Harrelson, William Harrelson's legacy lives on in his loving wife of 17 years, Emily Nicole Harrelson; sons, Henry Harrelson, David Harrelson, London Strickland (Karla) and Jesse Strickland (Hailey); Sisters, Lenora Harrelson and Elizabeth Harrelson; two grandchildren, Paisley Givens and Benjamin Strickland; expected granddaughter, Wren, in September; and the many lives of friends and family William touched with his infectious spirit.
A Memorial Service is currently planned for 11 AM on September 7, 2024 at Mercy Baptist Church.
