Stefanie J. Weber (nee Dahl) passed away on September 30, 2025, in Conway, South Carolina. She was 85.
Stefanie was born on March 15, 1940, in Brooklyn, NY, to Walter and Ada (Bogomolny) Dahl. She graduated from Erasmus Hall High School where she met her future husband, Harvey J. Weber. They married in 1959.
Once their children were older, Stefanie returned to college and earned a master’s degree in special education. She began her teaching career at James Madison High School in Brooklyn, NY, and subsequently taught at New Dorp High School on Staten Island. Upon retiring to Copake, NY, Stefanie continued to pursue her love of all things antique.
For the last few years she has stayed with her children in South Carolina. She spent her days watching numerous antique shows, reading, doing the Sunday crossword, and, most importantly, enjoying her daily bowl of ice cream.
Stefanie is survived by her three sons, Stuart (Janine), William (Shari), and Richard (Erin). She also leaves three grandchildren, Amanda, Robert (Lauren), and Anthony (Lexy), and three great-grandchildren.
She is pre-deceased by her husband Harvey J. Weber, her parents Walter and Ada (Bogomolny) Dahl, and her brother William Dahl.
A private interment will be held on October 3, 2025, at Williams Cemetery, North Mountain Road in Copake Falls.
A future memorial service will be determined.
