WILLIAM HEUSTED Obituary

WILLIAM HEUSTED William John "Bill" Heusted, 64, of Marshall, MO passed away August 17, 2025, at a friend's home on hospice in Higbee, MO. He was born on June 2, 1961, in Macon, MO to Albert and Marjorie Harris (nee Moore. He worked for several years in maintenance at the Columbia Mall in Columbia, MO. He also worked for several years for Excel and Con Agra factories in Marshall. William was a loving husband to Patsy Heusted for 35 years. He was a devoted father to his son George Heusted and a devoted uncle to his nieces and nephews. Bill was very big into his family. "Bill" married his wife, Patsy on April 8,1990, in Holts Summit, MO. Patsy survives at their home. He enjoyed fishing, traveling and spending time with his family. William was known for his kindness, his willingness to help those in need, his infectious laugh and his unwavering love for his family and friends. He had never met a stranger. Survivors include wife, Patsy Heusted of Marshall; son, George Heusted of Columbia, MO; sister, Cathy Edwards of Texas; brother Albert Harris of Marshall; sister and brothers in-law; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by parents, Albert and Marjorie Harris; adopted parents, George William and Virginia Heusted; sisters, Marion Harrelson, Marjorie Ford and Virginia "Ginny" Robertson as well as grandparents, aunts and uncles. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM, Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Carr Yager Funeral Home in Fayette, MO. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society in William's memory. Condolences may be shared at www.carryager.com. Carr-Yager Funeral Home is honored to serve the Huested family.
