William "Bill" LeRoy Hobbs, age 85, of Albertville passed away on Thursday, August 28th, 2025 at Lake Ridge Care Center in Buffalo.
He was born on April 17, 1940 in Wabash, Indiana the son of Charles & Georgia (Durkus) Hobbs.
Bill Honorably served his Country in The United States Air Force.
He was employed for thirty-six years as a heavy equipment operator for the railroad.
Bill was a member of The St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Michael. He also belonged to The St. Michael American Legion, The Knights of Columbus, and to The N.R.A.
Survived by his loving wife: Nancy J. (Friendshuh) Hobbs; children: Chris Worilla, Brian Hobbs, Brett Hobbs, Sabrina Hensley and Mary Hobbs; Tim Thiessen, Merry Church and Mark Thiessen; thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren; sister: Linda Schaper; step sister: Patty Rigsbee; a brother: Michael Hobbs; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Ramona (Meiny) Daleiden, Char (Bob) Kilian, Martha Friendshuh, Joyce (Paul) Kessler, Linda (Dave) Bebeau, Joan (Jerry) Heuring, Barb (John) Barthel, Pat (Bill) Daw, Gale (Mark) Kessler, Frank (Ann) Friendshuh and Michael (Lisa) Friendshuh.
Preceded in death by two children Bradley and Kenneth and by his parents.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Bill Hobbs will be held on Thursday, September 4th, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at The St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Michael.
Molly Lindenfelser will be the vocalist.
Entombment will follow at the St. Michael Cemetery Columbarium.
A visitation will be held on Thursday morning, September 4th one hour prior to Mass at the church.
Urn Bearers will be Frank and Mike Friendshuh.
