William Russell Holley, Jr. of Macomb Township, Michigan passed away on March 26, 2022. He was 68 years old, born in Huntington, West Virginia on October 2, 1953 to the late William Holley Sr. and Garney (Lacy) Holley. He married his beloved wife Catherine A. Fisher on June 30, 1973, and together they have spent over 48 years of marriage.
Bill was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Clinton Twp for many years, serving as head usher. He loved to golf, read, and listen to Elvis and Country music. Most of all, Bill loved his family dearly, and he always welcomed the opportunity to spend time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years Cathy, two daughters Lisa (Butch) Behnke and Laura (Arthur) Anderson. He was the proud grandfather of Vinny and Vanessa Behnke, and Holly and Cecilia Anderson. Besides his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his son Corey Schales, and his siblings Jerry Holley, Victoria Roberts, Helen Boyce, Bonnie Warren, Sally Merck, and Garnett Bulloch.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Harold W. Vick Funeral Home, 140 South Main Street, Mt. Clemens, MI. A funeral service celebrating Bill's life will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. (instate 10:00) at Trinity Lutheran Church, 38900 Harper, Clinton Twp. Burial will be at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East Cemetery, Clinton Twp. Contributions in memory of Bill may be addressed to Trinity Lutheran Church of Clinton Twp, or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
