William Holt Obituary

William "Bill" E. Holt passed away on March 13, 2024, in Lakeland, Fl. He was born in Ottawa, IL on October 16, 1953.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lola Rae DeHoward Kuehl and William Earnest Holt.
He is survived by his wife, Dixie Holt they were married on June 3rd, 1972,
they had two daughters:
Necole Holt and Wayne Williams, and Carrie Schaible and her husband Steven Schaible
two Grandchildren: Jonathan Jones, Amber Schaible.
Siblings: Marlina Miller, Cindy McMeen, Esther Carlson, Eva Roberts.
Mr. Holt Graduated from Woodland High school in 1971 and attended
Lakeland Business College and Traviss Vocational School
He was self employed as WEH Drafting, and retired after many years in construction and project management.
Just a few of his special interest include:
Grilling (took great pride in creating his own recipes for sausage and bacon), fishing, hunting, eagles, and playing the guitar.
He also like NASCAR, the beach, camping, visiting family and, photography.
Gathering of Friends will be on Thursday, March 21, 2024, from 4-7pm at United Women's Club of Lakeland, Williamsburg Square, Lakeland, FL, 1515 Williamsburg Sq, Lakeland.

I remember some of the good times Sheryl and I had with Bill and Dixie at the Lakeland CB Radio Club, back in the Seventies. Then cell phones came along and became the trend. So, Bill I say one final farewell, over and out! Love you Dixie!
