Mr. William John Howells, age 63, of Wilmot, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, March 13, 2026.
Bill was born in Philadelphia, PA, on January 13, 1963, the son of the late Thomas David and Lillian Baker Howells. He graduated from Jules E. Mastbaum High School, Philadelphia, PA, a member of the class of 1980.
He began working for Fleet Management in Philadelphia, for many years, and later moved to Wilmot where he began working for Penn Dot in Towanda, PA, from which he recently retired.
Bill loved to hunt fish, work on his mowers and tractors, and take care of his land. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was the best brother you could have and will be missed.
Bill is survived by his longtime companion Cindy Dunlap at home: step-children: Zeth & Davina Dunlap, Mehoopany; Katherine Kinsley, Lopez, PA; Randy Dunlap, Meshoppen, PA; Devin L Dunlap, Blountville, TN; step-grandchildren: Devin R. Dunlap, US Marines; Zeva Dunlap, Mehoopany, PA; Aaron Kinsley, US Army; Kyle Kinsley, Lopez, PA; Brothers and sisters-in-law: Tom Howells and sister-in-law Oe Sun Howells of Green Bay, VA; his brother Dave Howells and sister-in-law Linda Howells of Abington, PA; his brother Ernie Howells and sister-in-law Tina Howells of Brick, NJ.
Bill is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
