William Ingalls, Sr. Obituary
William Eugene Ingalls, Sr. 91, of Clanton, Alabama passed away September 26, 2025, at Cedar Ridge Veterans Facility.
He was born October 5, 1933, in North Carolina, son of the late Leamon Ingalls and the late Claudia Alcox Ingalls.
He began his military career in 1952 and entered service in the Air Force as a Camera Repairman/Photographer, November 14, 1952. He retired from the National Guard, August 12, 1991. He was also in the Civil Service at Maxwell AFB in Camera Repair and was a Senior Photographer and later became the Photo Lab Manager. After retiring from the Civil Service, he opened a small Professional Photography Studio in Montgomery, AL. His total time in Military Service was 38 years and 9 months. Among other things, he told the best Alabama and Auburn Football jokes.
Surviving are his Sons, Bill Ingalls, Jr. (Margaret) of Montgomery, AL; Wallace Ingalls of American Canyon, CA; Daughter, Andrea Gooden (J.R.) of Verbena, AL; Sons, David Goodman of Coden, AL, Ken Goodman (Vera) of Lafayette, AL; 9 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great-Grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his Wife, Julia Ann Wallace Ingalls; Children, Marcelyn Bomboy and LeAnne Iacampo; Parents, Leamon and Claudia Alcox Ingalls; Siblings, Leamon Ingalls, Jr. , Jackie Ingalls Clark, Alton Ingalls, and Wayne Ingalls.
Friends will be received Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 11:00 am. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow in Cedar Tree Cemetery, Hackleburg, Alabama.
