William Earl Jaggers, 71, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. He was born on December 18, 1953, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Billie Ernie Jaggers and Emma Eloise Jaggers.
Earl is survived by his loving wife, Debra Jaggers, and his son, Josh Jaggers. He is also survived by his brother, David Jaggers, and David’s wife, Phyllis Jaggers; his sister, Susan Mitchell; and his sister-in-law, Judy Hunt, and her husband, Doug Hunt; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Earl retired from Lorillard Tobacco Company after 36 years of dedicated service and was a devoted member of Holly Hill Baptist Church. He leaves behind a legacy of integrity, kindness, and dedication. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Holly Hill Baptist Church, 2818 Edgewood Ave., Burlington, NC 27215.
