Uncle Bill was a very kind, smart, accomplished, witty man and a favorite uncle of mine! He was there for me almost 59 years ago, when he and Aunt Faye took time out of his very busy schedule to drive 750 miles across country from Pennsylvania to Illinois to walk me down the aisle at my wedding! My husband and I will never forget that act of love! God blessed Uncle Bill with 103 years of a healthy life! My husband Hank and I very much look forward to seeing him and dear Aunt Faye(my Mother's sister) again in heaven in the not so distant future and will be so happy to be spending eternity in our heavenly home with them and God our heavenly Father! To Uncle Bill's son Craig and Jane and your family, our hearts are sad for your loss and we are praying for God's strength, comfort and peace for you!

Dearest Bill,
We've been friends for over 20 years! I have enjoyed every minute of your wit and brilliance. Your dedication to Missions was unwavering. So many great stories you have shared: Trips with Faye to meet supporters in the US, travels for ABC with our dear Aunty Lou (Louise Paw, ABC), Your humorous "Infantry Roll" email following a spill at BP, Following your serious illness upon the Covid restriction lift - "Don't sing Amazing Grace. That is for funerals. Sing Kumbaya.", Your ear of friendship as I navigated my mother's last illness and move.
Now you are surely in the arms of Jesus Christ, Our Savior. Job well done, Brother in Christ! Ida along with Dave, NuNu, and Debbie.

Uncle Bill, I will always treasure the wonderful trip I took with you and Aunt Fay one summer of my fourth grade year. Rest in peace, Elegant Gentleman.
