Donohue Funeral Home - West ChesterWilliam E. "Bill" Kelly, of West Chester, PA, passed away on September 10, 2025.
Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1951, he was the son of the late Bernard Joseph and Elizabeth Mary (nee Deissroth) Kelly. Bill was the loving brother of Patricia Ann Laskowski (Stanley); caring uncle of Tara Drury (Michael); adoring great-uncle of Kate, Flynn, Cole, and Sam.
In 1974 Bill graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology College of Business with a Bachelor of Science degree. For over forty years he worked for the federal government, initially at the Philadelphia Navy Yard and then at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency office in Philadelphia as a budget analyst. He was also a member of the local chapter of Toastmasters International. Over the years Bill enjoyed writing poems and working on challenging word games. He also enjoyed being with his family and dining in many of the area restaurants. Bill had great faith in God and was a devout Christian who enjoyed watching Christian shows on TV.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:30-11:00 AM Saturday, September 20, 2025 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000, followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment private.
