William Charles "Billy" Kines

William "Billy" Charles Kines was born on June 19, 1978, in Birmingham, Al. He sadly passed away on October 11, 2024, after a sudden decline in his health. Billy was only 46 years old.
Billy is survived by his son and best friend, Mitchell Kines and his daughter-in-law, Brooke along with their children, his two cherished granddaughters, Ellie and Mallorie and former wife and friend, Tanya Kines.
Billy is also survived by his mother, Teresa Kines; his sister, Janet McLeod and her husband Brandon and his nephew, Drew; grandmother, Olean George; along with aunts, uncles and cousins.
Billy is preceded in death by his precious son Connor and his loving father, Larry Kines. Grandparents, Ed and Rosamond Kines and grandfather, Charles George.
Billy Kines was a kind, loving and funny soul and will be missed and remembered by so many lives he touched. He was not just Billy; he was also Dad and Poppy. He loved his family fiercely and enjoyed golfing with his son Mitchell and close family member Charlie Worsham. He lived every day to the fullest and always wanted to make sure everyone else was having a good time and that they knew they were loved. Billy was brave, smart and generous. He could fix anything and loved sharing the skills he learned through all his life experiences. He will be missed dearly and will be remembered and thought of daily. The family deeply appreciates the love and support they have been receiving during this difficult time.
A memorial service for Billy will be held at First Baptist Church Columbiana on Saturday, October 26, 2024. visitation from 10-11, with a service to begin at 11:00 am.
