William R. King, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2025, just shy of his 61st birthday. Born on November 14, 1964, in Cincinnati, Ohio, William lived a life full of warmth and love.

William was the son of the late Bill and Joan (nee Schmitt) King. He was a cherished member of a large and loving family, including his siblings, late Patsy (Don) Witt, Terry (Diane) King, Debbie (late Doug) Covington, Mike (Rita) King, Karen (Jim) Allen, Steve (Nancy) King and Gail (Jay) Melton. In addition to his siblings, he leaves behind 14 adored nieces and nephews who remember him fondly.

Known for his infectious spirit, William found happiness in the simplest of pleasures; whether swinging outside on a warm day or engaging with his extended family, he exuded warmth and positivity. His love for life was not just a reflection of his personality but a testament to the bonds he cherished with those around him.

A funeral service in remembrance of William's life will be held at Frederick Funeral Home, located at 2553 Banning Rd., on Wednesday, November 12, at 1:30 p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate his legacy and share their stories, honoring a life that, though it departed too soon, was rich in love and compassion. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Southwest Ohio Developmental Center at 4399 E. Bauman Lane, Batavia, Ohio 45103. William spent many meaningful years there, and the support he received from the dedicated staff will always be remembered with gratitude.

My heart goes out to the King family. I know Billy was very special and loved by many people.

I am so sorry I am not in town to attend the memorial. I will donate to the Southwest Developmental Center.

My prayers and condolences are with Billy's family.
