William "Bill" L. Knepfel, age 88, of Elkhart Lake, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Sharon S. Richardson Hospice in Sheboygan Falls.

Bill was born in 1937, in Sheboygan, a son of the late Alves and Elva (Blanck) Knepfel. In 1958 Bill married the former Clarice Brill at St. John's Lutheran Church in Plymouth. She preceded him in death in 2001. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Kiel. Bill was employed at Kohler Company in the machine shop from 1956 until his retirement in 2009.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Alves and Elva Knepfel; his wife: Clarice Knepfel; one son: Blair Knepfel; five brothers and five sisters.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
