William Lane, 76, of Tunkhannock passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre. He is preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Kimberly Lane in 2017.
Born on November 29, 1948 in Elizabeth, NJ, he is the son of the late Thomas and Alice (French) Lane.
He was a 1970 graduate of Perth Amboy Technical School in New Jersey.
Bill enjoyed his time visiting the casino. He also loved spending hours playing computer games and had a passion for watching movies. Additionally, he cherished his time spent at the soup kitchen.
He is survived by sons, John Lane and wife Journey, Cody Lane and wife Rebecca, Bill Lane; daughters, Cassandra Caprio and husband Michael, Lisa Stokes; sisters, Joann Rigsbee, Marjorie Cuthbertson; brother, James Lane; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by daughter, Victoria Crawford; sisters, Dorothy Pelican and Laura Nalbone; brother, Thomas Lane.
Family and friends are invited to attend Billi’s Celebration of Life which will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 12:00 PM from the Marcho, Sheldon, and Kukuchka Funeral Home & Cremation Care, 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, PA 18657.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday.
