William Walter Laramie, Jr. was born on February 25, 1958, and died on March 27, 2026. A loving son to his late parents, William Walter Laramie, Sr. and Mary Francis Laramie. Reunited in death with his loving wife Denise Marie Laramie. Wonderful son-in-law to Roberta Gittemeier and the late John Gittemeier Sr. Proceeded in death by his granddaughter Jordyn Morgan; his sisters, Debbie Black and Vicki Cavanaugh; his brothers-in-law, Jim Cavanaugh and John Bighem. Cherished brother to Cindy Strockey and Pam Delashmit (Tim). Beloved brother-in-law to Kathy Morton (Greg), Linda Bighem, Rose Bretana, JJ Gittemeier (Lynne), and Karen Lesinski (Gregg). Wonderful father to William Laramie III (Tara), Cristen Cavanaugh (Lance), Nichole Morgan (Michael) and Melissa Spencer (Russell). Amazing Papa Stumpy to Collin and Gabrielle Schlapper; Gracelyn and William Laramie, IV; Brennan and Magdelyn Cavanaugh; Kevin, Natalee, and Reaghan Morgan; Cameron, Trevor, Nolan, Dylan, and Makenna Spencer.

Bill Laramie, better known as Stump, Stumpy or the Stumper, was an incredible son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. Stump was always the one people called when they had a problem that needed fixing, whether it was at work or in his personal life. He loved spending time at the family farm in High Hill, and not surprisingly a lot of his time up there was spent fixing his grandchildren’s ride-on toys. Stump was an innovator in the construction industry, specializing in tilt-up construction. He helped put in place many of the tilt-up erection procedures and safety measures still in use by Fenix Construction today. After retirement he spent a lot of time on the water fishing and traveling with his family. Stump will be remembered as a man of generous spirit who was always willing to help someone he cared about without a second thought. Bill has now joined his beloved wife, Denise, and there is no doubt that they are in each other’s arms once again.

Memorials may be made in Bill's name to The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD).
