William George "Bill" Larson

William George Larson passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026, at the age of 78.

Bill was born on October 29, 1947 in Rochester, MN to Hilmer and Margaret (Staples) Larson. He graduated from John Marshall High School in 1966. He met Judy Krier and the couple were married on May 22, 1971.

Bill will be remembered for his love of family, his steady presence, and the many memories he created with those closest to him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Along with being the beloved husband of Judy and a devoted father to Angie (Brian) Igel, Andy (Katie) Larson, and Matt (Dana) Larson, he was a proud grandfather to Ethan and Alex (children of Angie and Brian), Lauren and Carter (children of Andy and Katie), and Ethan, Vivienne, and Liam (children of Matt and Dana). His grandchildren were a constant source of joy and pride in his life.

His legacy lives on through the family he cherished so deeply.

The Memorial Mass for Bill will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026 at 1:00PM at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Rochester. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the Mass, at the church. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Rochester, MN.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the ALS Association.
